INX (欣界能源, “Xinjie Energy”), a Shenzhen solid-state battery maker, raised more than $100M in a B round at a $1B post-money valuation. Its batteries doubled the flight time of an EHang 216-S eVTOL, from 23 to 48 minutes (EHang is also an investor, having backed both the Pre-A and A rounds). Seven months later, it had delivered more than 10 million cells, what lead investor Puhua Capital (普华资本) describes as the first publicly reported case of continuous mass production on the lithium-metal anode route. Dachen (达晨财智) and CMB International (招银国际) also participated.
